Macie Tendrich, born in sunny South Florida, is a board-certified registered nurse working with the outpatient pediatric neurosurgery team. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of South Carolina, where she was a four-year varsity starter on the beach volleyball team and participated in two NCAA National Championships. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing.
Macie found her passion for children and medicine while volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house in Columbia, South Carolina. After spending much of the Covid-19 pandemic working on a medical-surgical floor, she is now thrilled to shift her nursing career to pediatric neurosurgery. She is committed to providing our young neurosurgical patients with utmost compassionate care.
