Diversity and Inclusion in Neurological Surgery

Dr. Stieg and the Department of Neurological Surgery are committed to bringing diverse viewpoints into our practice, as one of the many ways we work to ensure the best possible experience for our patients. Our faculty actively engage in mentorship programs, develop meetings and conferences in which we explore a wide range of topics related to inclusion, and are dedicated to improving our education and advocacy programs to expand access to resources for all. For those whose access has been limited for reasons of socioeconomics, race, gender, or culture, we are determined to break down barriers in an effort to expand access.

NEW! PrIMES Mentorship Program

The diversity initiative within the Department of Neurological Surgery is headed by Dr. Caitlin Hoffman, who works with the Weill Cornell Medicine Office of Diversity and Inclusion
