Amanda Cruz, board-certified physician assistant, is the clinical coordinator for the Chiari CARE Program at Weill Cornell Medicine Neurological Surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University in 2012. Pursuing her passion of streamlining medicine through an integrative clinical and administrative approach, she later earned her Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Health Policy in Management from New York University in 2017.
Amanda has been dedicated to neurological surgery since the beginning of her career, with experience in cranial, spinal, and epilepsy procedures in both the adult and pediatric populations. She is excited to continue her neurosurgical journey with a focus on Chiari CARE patients. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to ensure all patients reach their full potential through education, empowerment, and individualized care throughout the process.
