Dr. Hartl Discusses Concussion, Depression, and Suicide

Following the suicide of Ohio State football player and wrestler Kosta Karageorge, Dr. Roger Härtl appeared on a panel on PIX11 News in New York to discuss the pathology of concussion and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in athletes.

First described in boxers, CTE is back in the news as a possible outcome of repeated concussions, which is of concern not only to professional football players but also to high school and college athletes.
