Among the many casualties of the pandemic was this year’s trip to Tanzania for our annual training course in neurotrauma. This was the first time in more than a decade that Dr. Härtl was unable to bring together a team to provide face-to-face, hands-on training to local surgeons and other health care providers, which was deeply disappointing.
